Dr. Rory Trottier has been serving Grand Forks and the surrounding communities for 17 years. He and his wife Kerry founded Northern Valley OBGYN & Laser Aesthetics to bring quality healthcare to women of all ages in an environment where individual attention to patients was the most important thing. Northern Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology is the only independent OBGYN office in the Grand Forks and Northeastern North Dakota region with no affiliation to any other clinics.
A lifelong North Dakotan, Dr. Trottier grew up in Belcourt and received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota.
Northern Valley OBGYN & Laser Aesthetics began in 2006 when Dr. Rory Trottier opened the clinic to serve the needs of women and their families in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the surrounding region.
Since that time, NVOG has grown to care for women in the surrounding communities including satellite clinics in Park River and Langdon. Founded on the principles of open communication, patient education, good health, and genuine care, our team of doctors and nurses meet the needs of those we care for. We also give special, sensitive attention to teen patients and their parents.
The medical staff at our medical center has more than 50 years of experience in caring for women and also expertise in the general OBGYN care, high-risk obstetrics, special training in urinary incontinence, management of abnormal pap smears, perimenopausal symptoms, and more.
From Dr. Trottier:
“We know that every woman needs the utmost confidence in her provider as well as knowing that she can receive the latest treatments in women’s health care,” says Dr. Trottier.
“I have worked very hard to bring minimally invasive procedures such as the HerOption
Endometrial Ablation to the clinic setting. Being the only OBGYN in the region to provide this type of service in the office, setting get our patients back to normal activity faster! Patients can’t get that kind of care in most places, but here they can get the care. It is very important to us that when a patient calls, they can talk to the same person each and every time and get the individual attention they deserve.”
